Following a recording project at Jack Straw in Seattle, sound|counterpoint brings one of its most popular programs, the Red Earth Project to WWU. Curated for us by Seattle composer Adam Haws, this program contains plenty of early music favorites, a re-imagining of a solo violin sonata by Bach, tunes from jazz and rock greats, and two works written specifically for period instruments! Our good friend Christine Wilkinson Beckman joins us on viola. This is a special collaboration that spans centuries and genres – you won’t want to miss it!
